The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is one of the units allowed to organize an exam to assess Vietnamese language proficiency according to the Vietnamese Language Competency Framework for foreigners by the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates can register for the exam at the VLC, the procedures for registration are as follows:

1. Copy of of the first page of the passport
2. Registration form for the Vietnamese Proficiency Test (with attached file)
3. Two 4 x 6 photos
4. Exam fee:
   + For candidates who do not study Vietnamese at the Center or study less than 60 class-hours: 3,800,000 VND
   + For candidates who study Vietnamese at the Center for 60 lessons or more (within 6 months before the Vietnamese Proficiency Exam): 2,500,000 VND
