Functions and Duties
Organizing short-term courses on Vietnamese language and culture for foreigners, and short-term courses on language and culture for Vietnamese.
Organizing programs, projects, and research topics on Vietnamese language and culture; Compiling textbooks, lectures, reference books on language and culture.
Cooperating with domestic and foreign training and research institutions to organize short-term training, research, and exchange programs for lecturers and students.
Vietnamese Proficiency Test
The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi is one of the units allowed to organize an exam to assess Vietnamese language proficiency according to the Vietnamese Language Competency Framework for foreigners by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Center for Vietnamese language and Culture – University of Social Sciences and Humanities aspires to be a national leader in the field of researching and teaching Vietnamese language and culture to domestic and foreign students.
